has anyone ordered petite through a catalog or over the internet? if you have, how do they fit? any info about petite clothing would be appreciated.
One of my favorite places to find petite size clothes are on-line Asian stores like:http://www.jshoppers.com/http://www.yesstyle.comSince the clothes are a bit more trendy and also tend to be more exact in terms of the sizing (also, most Asians tend to average out a bit shorter). Also, the knee breaks on the bootcut jeans for J-Shoppers are a tad higher, which is always good for us petites. I also dig the fact that my clothes aren't as baggy and my jeans don't fall off my butt so easily.I also like to check out my local Macy's during sales since they have a really nice designer section for petites (if you go for the more trendy stuff, it's cut a tad longer than the more conservative brands). I've also read that a lot of women like the petite stuff from Ann Taylor and Banana Republic as well since they offer more differences in sizing than other places. I also recall that BCBG tends to cut their stuff a bit more fitting for a petite figure (not too sure on it).I'm sometimes lucky with stores like Ross/Marshalls/TJ Maxx, but the selection's a bit too random.
