New Safety Vests and Protective Clothing Lines Launched Online by Supply Line Direct

A major expansion of safety vest and protective clothing lines was announced today by Supply Line Direct. The new safety vests, disposable coveralls, arc flash protective suits and fire-resistant outerwear were launched on the safety distributors Web site http://www.supplylinedirect.com.

Additions to the safety equipment line support Supply Line Directs marketing endeavor to expand both specialty personal protective equipment and offer more value-priced options on popular PPE.

Included in the introduction were more than 15 styles of ANSI Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3 safety vests from Radians and OK-1. Several options of non-rated vests were introduced as well. Featured in the Class 2 and Class 3 products were T-shirts, bomber jackets, windbreakers and Class E bib overalls. Expanded options of Direct Value Class 2 safety vests were also released. Part of the expansion of the protective clothing line was a significant addition of new disposable coverallstyles. The Direct Value line included a wide range of protective material and styles. Microporous, SMS and polypro coveralls, lab coats, shoe covers and bouffant hair covers were introduced. Introduced from International Enviroguard , were PyroGuard FR coveralls treated with fire retardant and ViroGuard coveralls that meet ASTM requirements for protection against bloodborne pathogens. DuPont Tyvek and Tychem suits remain part of the Supply Line Direct product line of disposable clothing

In response to increased demand for arc flash protective clothingthat meets ANSI and NFPA standards, new lines of suits, gloves and outerwear were introduced. Complete arc flash suits from Guard-Line range in Arc Thermal Performance Values from 11.5 cal/cm2 to 74 cal/cm2. Electrical safety glove kits from Guard-Line were part of the new product launch.

New lines of high-visibility outwear clothing that meet arc flash standards were launched by Supply Line. Hooded coats, hooded jackets and bib trousers from Neese Industries, Inc., comprise the line of outwear. The fluorescent orange and yellow raingear with reflective tape meet ANSI standards. Choices in the new line provide protection levels up to ATPV 19 cal/cm2.
