The Kardashian sisters are very big stars and that star power was evident on the red carpet Wednesday night (August 17) at the launch party for their new clothing line, the ‘Kardashian Kollection.’
According to Reuters, Kim Kardashian generated the most attention, ahead of her upcoming wedding this weekend to NBA basketball star Kris Humphries, who seemed somewhat overwhelmed by it all.
Meanwhile, the reality TV stars were excited about the chance to push their new clothing line that is being sold exclusively through the Sears department stores.
‘I think by having three different designers design for one line, I think it does so much more for one line,’ explained Khloe.
‘I think it does so much more for the line because you are getting three different fashion senses. you are getting us designing for three different figures, personalities and taste. you are getting so much across the board. it is not all uniform, it varies so widely that you are getting so much in this one collection.’
‘I think also we wear the pieces so differently,’ added sister Kourtney. ‘I would not think to put this blazer over this dress and I don’t think Khloe or Kim would put this top with this skirt. I think we would each do it our own way. So, I think that makes it unique too.’
As for Saturday’s big day (August 20), Kim seemed to be the most calm about what’s being called the ‘Royal Reality’ wedding.
‘I said that I think that I am more nervous about the wedding than you guys,’ joked sister Kourtney.
Mom Kris Jenner, who’s been instrumental in guiding the career of her daughters, joked that she is just hoping to make it through the week.
‘We take it one day at a time, we are almost there,’ said Jenner.
‘So, everything is good and we have a lot of help and she is having a ball. So, that is all I care about is that she is happy.’
The wedding is set to take place in Montecito, California, with a reported guest list that is said to include Jay-z and Beyonce and Justin Bieber.
